Well-produced, excellent photo survey of the executed work of architect Cuypers, 1827-1931, no doubt one of the most influential Dutch 19th century architects, and whose work include the Rijksmuseum/Amsterdam and the Central Station/Amsterdam. Published on occasion of his ninetieth birthday the introduction contains tributes by such colleagues as Otto Wagner, Puig y Cadafalch, Louis van der Swalmen, Martin Nyrop, and others, preceded by an extended version of notes about his work published earlier (1907) in Architectura. - Binding of portfolio as described, but very acceptable, inside fine Order-nr. 4971 EUR 750.00
