(24,5 x 30 cm). Used for the cover of the 'Haagsche Post', Year 46, no. 2303, January 31, 1959. - With middelfold.
The original caption in the newspaper read: 'Hendrik Petrus Berlage (1856-1934) .... de tragiek van het bouwen op brakke grond...' The collage shows the architect in front of the north facade of the Exchange with visible cracks in the wall. At the time (1959) all newspapers and periodicals run articles about the yes or no of restoring the building or demolishing it.
